Best cooked sausages in the west – Oxley 18 June 2017

Tony’s “best cooked sausages in the west” – come and try them

It’s on again – the Doolandella sausage sizzle. Sunday 18 June 2017 from 9.00am until 3.00pm the Doolandella NHW will be sizzling away at Officeworks, Ipswich Road, Oxley (beside the Oxley Hotel – or the Ox if you know that name better).

Come along to see if Tony “Cookie” Cook is as good as they say he is – to quote Area Coordinator, Ada Lanham, “Tony’s best cooked sausages in the west”. Ada, Marilyn, Keith, Jill (someone has to keep an eye on the ‘till’ Jill) and Tony are sure to be there and perhaps a few others. They are a great bunch of people and deserve our support.

If you are hungry, if you need anything from Officeworks (or the bottle shop maybe) or if you are just passing, drop in, buy a snag and a drink and stop for a yak. If you aren’t passing by or need to go shopping come and visit anyway.

2016 Doolandella Community Safety Day

Why do they do this!! Not a bad question but if you are a Doolandella resident they do it for you – all money raised from these events is put towards community events and crime prevention awareness strategies. If you aren’t from Doolandella, it doesn’t matter, they invite everyone to their community events.
